A relaxed atmosphere goes a long way towards a comfortable dental experience, and we strive to give patients of ALL ages the BEST that dentistry has to offer right here in the Northwoods!
Our team offers comprehensive care including many specialty services under one roof, but also works closely with a team of outside specialists when needed. That’s important when dealing with certain dental conditions that may be beyond our scope. We want you to receive the very best dental care. We also believe in educating our patients so they can decide what treatment option is the best for them.

MEET OUR TEAM
DR. PACO FRALICK
Dr. Fralick was born and raised in Rhinelander and graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1986. Dr. Fralick attended UW-Eau Claire for undergraduate studies and graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1993.
Dr. Fralick opened Timber Drive Dental in 1995 and where he has been delivering quality patient care with state-of-the-art technologies to this day.
Additionally, Dr. Fralick also directed the dental department at the Petersen Health Care Nursing Home for three years providing direct care for 500 elderly and handicapped patients. As a member of the Lac du Flambeau Tribe, Dr. Fralick recently served as the Health Director of the Peter Christensen Dental Campus from 2008-2014 where he helped design, construct and manage a beautiful 26 chair facility.
Committed to providing the best care possible to his patients, Dr. Fralick has continued his academic training by attending institutes such as Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Seattle, WA, Misch International Implant Institute in Detroit and Dr. Allens Center for Advanced Education in Dallas, TX.
Dr. Fralick and his wife Heidi have 3 children. When not helping patients, Dr. Fralick enjoys playing music, woodworking, playing tennis and fishing.
Dr Matthew Novak
Matthew has been treating patients since 2014. Matthew has been practicing dentistry in Rhinelander since 2016. He grew up in the Wausau area and completed dental school at the University of Florida. He has a wife, Lindsay, who is a physician assistant and two young boys, and a new pup named Leia.
He has a background in education and previously worked as a science teacher before changing course to dentistry.
Matt loves spending time with his family, hunting, and many other hobbies that get him and his family outdoors in all of our seasons.
Barb-Dental Hygienist
Barb was born and raised in Rhinelander, WI and continues to make it her home. Barb and her husband, Scott, raised 3 children here. She enjoys fishing, gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Heidi-Office Manager
Heidi has worked in the practice since it opened in 1994. In the fall of 2021, her role has changed to more of a behind the scenes one to help babysit her grandson. She continues to do a variety of tasks remotely. You still may see her from time to time in the office. She enjoys walking, dancing, pickleball and spending time with family and friends.
Maya LeMaster-Front Desk Receptionist
Maya is from Argonne Wisconsin and went to Crandon High school. She went to school at NTC for dental assisting and has been a dental assistant since 2023. She likes to go hunting and fishing. She spends most of her time with family and friends. May also skis on a water ski team during the summer. She enjoys helping patient feel confident in their smile again.
Kaitlyn Messenlehner-Dental Assistant
Kaitlyn enjoys hiking, swimming, camping in the summer. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is currently enrolled in north central technical college looking to pursue a degree in dental hygiene.
Brittney-Dental Assistant
Brittney was born and raised in Rhinelander. She completed the dental assisting program in 2017 and has been assisting ever since. You can find her spending time with her 2 young daughters and husband. Britt loves to be outside in the summers especially having beach days.
Sadee-Dental Assistant
Mercedes has six years of experience as a Dental Assistant which translates into calm, competent support for the dental team. She’s known for her gentle approach with patients and her commitment to smooth, well-organized appointments.
When she’s not at work, Mercedes loves crafting, paddling on the water, and camping under the stars. Family means everything to her, she treasures time with friends and her two beautiful daughters, who inspire her every day.
Emily-Dental Assistant
Emily has been a dental assistant since 2018 and has experience in oral surgery and orthodontics as well. She has two boys and enjoys spending time in the woods, hiking, and cooking.
